A person in a suit and tieDescription automatically generatedProfessor Michael Kidd AO FAHMS is foundation Director of the Centre for Future Health Systems at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and Professor of Global Primary Care and Future Health Systems with the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Prof Kidd was the Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Principal Medical Advisor with the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, and Professor of Primary Care Reform at the Australian National University. He holds honorary appointments with the University of Toronto, the University of Melbourne, Flinders University, and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, and is the Emeritus Director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Family Medicine and Primary Care. He is an elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (FAHMS). In the 2023 King's Birthday Honours List he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia. Prof Kidd served as president of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) from 2013-2016, and as president of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners from 2002-2006. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Medical Case Reports, the world's first PubMed-listed journal devoted to publishing case reports from all medical disciplines.

He serves as an examiner in oncology super speciality, has been involved in ovarian cancer drug development for the last 25 years and is an international peer in the field of ovarian cancer etiology.  Dr Bose obtained his MD qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ramakrishna Mission Seva Prathisthana, Kolkata, India, in 1989. His sub-speciality training, registrarship and PhD (1996) in gynaecological oncology were completed in the Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata. Dr Bose has won Royal Society and DFG fellowships, and received multiple travel grants from AACR, ASCO, etc. His many important publications include book chapters and a book on oncology and endocrinology. Dr Bose has been serving as an expert in oncology in drug regulatory authority of the government of India for 10 years. He is an ethics committee member of a cancer hospital and serves as expert in stem cell committee of India government. He had served as executive member in Indian branch (FPAI) of IPPF, UK.

Emmanouil Kapetanakis, MD, University General Hospital Attikon, Greece

Kapetanakis M.D., M.Sc. is a specialist oncological thoracic surgeon with a mixed clinical/surgical and academic/research practice specializing in the management of lung cancer and chest malignancies. Having realized the importance for a surgeon to possess a broad oncological opinion and a multidisciplinary management approach he has pursued an oncology concentrated surgical education. Therefore, he has completed postgraduate coursework in Thoracic Oncology at the University of Athens and in Lung Cancer at the University of Zurich, as well as fellowships in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland and in thoracic surgical oncology at the European Institute of Oncology (I.E.O.) in Milan, Italy. His research expertise includes both laboratory/bench and clinical/epidemiological research having performed significant research on thoracic surgery, focusing mainly on lung cancer and thoracic oncology. He has a respectable research and academic profile, having published more than 60 papers in reputable medical journals, with quite a high impact factor, while he also has over 60 oral and posted presentations in medical conferences and workshops as well as numerous guest speeches at respective conferences. Dr. Kapetanakis’ has acted as principal investigator and as co-investigator in a number of studies on surgical techniques, thoracic anesthesia and thoracic oncology. He also serves as a reviewer in several reputable scientific journals. He has held various academic and educational positions, both in Greece and abroad, teaching medical students as well as trainee doctors. Dr. Kapetanakis is a member of a number of Greek and international medical and surgical professional societies and is secretary of the Education Working Group of the Hellenic Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons and a member of the Educational Board of the Hellenic Surgical Society. He is married and has a young son.

Jean Karl Soler, MD, PhD, The Family Practice Malta, Malta

He has run studies on burnout in European family doctors in collaboration with EGPRN, and on mathematical models of the diagnostic process in primary care in collaboration with the Academic Medical Centre of the University of Amsterdam under the late Prof. Henk Lamberts and Dr. Inge Okkes. He has collaborated with the TRANSFoRm project on learning healthcare systems to reduce diagnostic error in primary care under the leadership of Prof. Brendan Delaney at Imperial College, London, and the eHID electronic health indicator database project led by the late Dr. Douglas Fleming. Dr Soler leads the research arm of the Mediterranean Institute of Primary Care, and organises continuing medical education for the Malta College of Family Doctors. He is also the Maltese representative for the European General Practice Research Network, and is a long-standing member of the Wonca International Classification Committee with a role in maintaining the International Classification of Primary Care. He has 34 indexed publications, and has read for his PhD degree at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland. He is also very active in historical re-enactments of Malta’s role in the Second World War.

Dr. Meer Chisthi is a General Surgeon and researcher affiliated with a tertiary-level institution in Kerala, India. With over 15 years of academic experience, he has served as an examiner for undergraduate MBBS and BDS examinations. Dr. Chisthi has an extensive publication record in high-impact journals and has contributed to multi-national research collaborations. Dr. Wan-Ju Annabelle Lee is an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, where she has served since August 2022. With a strong background in ophthalmology, pharmacoepidemiology, neuro-ophthalmology, and ophthalmic pharmacology, Dr. Lee has made significant contributions to eye care in both academic and clinical settings.
Dr. Lee earned her MD from National Cheng Kung University in 2006, followed by a residency in ophthalmology in 2010. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017. She is actively involved in various professional organizations, such as the Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan, the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology, and the Taiwan Retinal Society, and has received multiple awards for her contributions to pharmacoepidemiology.
In addition to her clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Lee plays an important role in academic publishing, serving as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Medical Case Reports since 2021. Her research focuses on the treatment of ocular diseases through pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacology, aiming to enhance patient outcomes globally.


Luis Rafael Moscote-Salazar, MD, University of Cartagena, Colombia
Dr. Luis Rafael Moscote is a distinguished medical professional and researcher with a robust background in neurosurgery and clinical research.  Dr. Moscote has held influential roles across multiple international platforms, contributing significantly to advancing neurosurgical practices and clinical research methodologies. Babatunde A Gbolade, MSc MPhil FRCOG, St James’s University Hospital, UK
Dr. Gbolade was a consultant gynaecologist and director of the fertility control unit at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds, and a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Medical Academic Educators Unit (Leeds Institute of Medical Education), University of Leeds, United Kingdom. His primary research focussed on gynaecology and reproductive health care, with an ancillary interest in medical law, research ethics, and computational methods in medical science. With over 40 years of clinical and academic experience, he has served as an Expert Member of the UK’s Northern and Yorkshire NHS Research Ethics Committee for 10 years. He has also served as an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate professional examinations and a master's degree external examiner at the University of Warwick. He has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Currently, he serves as a peer reviewer, review editor, academic editor, associate editor, and editorial board member of many journals. He is also a medical editor and proofreader. He was named a Top Reviewer in Multidisciplinary in the 2018 Publons Global Peer Review Awards.

He has expertise as Deputy-Editor for JMCR and in peer-review process for several medical journals and has peer reviewed ABIM educational modules for several consecutive years.  He serves as an Associate Editor for ASCO-SEP. He also serves on the ASCO Educational Book expert panel as well as ASCO eLearning and In-Training Exam Item Writing Committee. Tibor Fulop, MD, PhD, Medical University of South Carolina, USA

Johnson VA Medical Center. He is a “summa cum laude” graduate of the Semmelweis University of Budapest, Hungary (M.D. 1990) with a subsequent Ph.D. degree obtained in 2018.. He obtained his postgraduate medical training at the University Iowa in Iowa City, IA and the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He is currently board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and actively engaged in clinical care, teaching and research.  Altogether, he authored or co-authored more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific papers and participated in several local and nation-wide epidemiologic cohort studies, including Jackson Heart Study, ARIC, and the CARe initiative and has now ongoing scientific collaborations with investigators at the University of Mississippi, University of Tennessee, Mayo Clinic, Thomas Jefferson University and the Semmelweis University in Hungary. He mentored numerous trainees in the past and regularly presents at both regional and national meetings. Dr Fülöp is a Fellow for the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology both and holds membership in several national and international professional societies. He is serving on the Editorial Board of six Nephrology or Internal Medicine journals and have peer-reviewed for additional >35 journals in the past. His clinical interests include Intensive Care nephrology, home-based renal replacement therapies, medical prevention of kidney stones and renal vasculitis. Dr Fulop is named among the Top Doctors in America (2012-2020 Nephrology).
