Optimal ovulation

 

1. Measure both estradiol and progesterone

2. Draw the serum level 6–9 days after the ovulation marker (not day 21)

3. Assess optimal levels, not threshold level

4. Confirm mature follicle size and follicle rupture by ultrasound in at least one cycle
