Treatment resistant adolescent depression with upper airway resistance syndrome treated with rapid palatal expansion: a case report
Because this case report was published with follow-up of just under two years, I am commenting at this time to briefly update this report. It is now beyond 3 years since this patient had electroconvulsive therapy. One of his parents reports that he remains off all psychotropic medication and his symptoms of anxiety and depression have not returned. He has transferred to a larger university, his academic life remains very good and his social life has improved. This will be my only update of this case report.
