The scores of the four questionnaires completed by patient 1 to quantify the severity of her chronic insomnia (Insomnia Severity Index), somatic arousal (Body Sensations Questionnaire), fatigue (Fatigue Severity Scale), and sleepiness (Epworth Sleepiness Scale). The x-axis of each graph depicts the duration, in months, of our interaction with the patient, and the y-axis shows the entire score range for each questionnaire. The date of the surgical procedure is indicated by a marker on the top gridline of each graph. The figure indicates a high level of insomnia severity, fatigue severity, and somatic arousal for over 2 years prior to maxillomandibular advancement with a prompt decrease in the severity of all three symptoms postoperatively
