Timeline of the clinical course of the case. The patient’s symptoms began with numbness of his hands 6 months after starting a job. His symptom progressed and was accompanied with distal weakness in the following 10 months. After removal of occupational exposure to n-hexane for 4 months, his symptoms subsided and he returned to work in another section of the plant that had no n-hexane exposure
