Radiologic findings. A chest X-ray performed on admission with the patient in the supine position showed a nodule-like shadow in the lower lobe of her right lung and reticular shadows in the lower lobes of both lungs (a). A chest X-ray performed on day 10 after admission with the patient in the sitting position showed improvements in the right nodular shadow and reticular shadows of the lower lobes of both lungs (b). Chest computed tomography performed on admission showed subpleural-predominant, nonsegmental ground-glass opacities in the lower lobes of both lungs (c).
