Axial brain magnetic resonance imaging sequences with diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) revealed multifocal subacute punctate supratentorial white matter lesions (black arrows) with the most prominent lesion affecting the posterior corpus callosum (red arrowhead). The study also showed T2/fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) hyperintensities involving the deep gray nuclei as well as leptomeningeal enhancement (not shown)
