Two subsets of genes are also shown: the blue curve demonstrates the genes previously reported to be induced in cells where transcription factor EB is transiently overexpressed, and the red curve illustrates the coordinated lysosomal expression and regulation motif (GTCACGTGAC) which overlaps the E-box motif (CANNTG) to which transcription factor EB also binds. The x-values represent the log 2 values of fragments per kilobase of transcript per million mapped reads. Also shown are specific expression levels for genes discussed in the text. PMEL was not found in the RNA-Seq Atlas. The y-values for these genes bear no meaning, other than to avoid overlap of names
