Fish oil supplementation improves the antioxidant status in five patients with breast cancer. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) (a), catalase (CAT) (b) and glutathione reductase (GRx) (c) activities in red blood cells and plasma antioxidant status (d) in the patients before and after chemotherapy and fish oil supplementation (Chemoā€‰+ā€‰FO) have been shown.
