Delayed reduction of titer after cyclophosphamide matches with the half-life time of immunoglobulin G of 1-3 weeks. Plasmapheretic therapy was first applied at day 8 and then continued alternating with continuous veno-venous hemofiltration throughout the patient's treatment.
